Ready-made guyrope with thimble fitted on one end.
MASTRANT-Q is new product line from Mastrant Classic category. It is guyrope optimized for guying with respect to maximized "performance/price" ratio. This excellent rope offers very good strength, low elongation, high UV and humidity resistance. It has low weight, great abrasion resistance, great durability and is nonconductive (no effect whatsoever on your antenna). Moreover, in contrast to ropes made from aramid fibres (Kevlar, Vectran, Technora, Twaron), it has knot strength about 60 %. Mastrant-Q replace Mastrant-P with diameters over 6 mm (1/4").
Construction: Braided rope with twisted cores
Core: Polyester & Polypropylene, parallel-arranged twisted cores
Cover: Polyester
Ropes by length: The ropes sold "by length" (not on spools) are packed in hanks. If you order for example 30 pcs of item "1 m", you will get 30 m (99 ft.) of rope in one piece. The ropes on spools are always less expensive than "by lengths".
If you are working on a complex project and need several different lengths, let us know. We will try to find an optimal solution for you.
As your interest in the hobby grows, you will find other uses for any excess rope i.e. try another antenna or pass along to a fellow club member? Some of us, personally, use our excess rope all the time and they are glad to have it - splice sections together all the time :)
